okay i thought the highlight of this post should be about prom.
prom was... rather boring. lol.
there are many things to you know, dislike about.
first, the food is totally not worth the price.
$85 just for cold plate, seafood pottage (actually they should just call it POTATO SOUP as pottage just makes it sound nicer), fish, chicken, prawns, noodles, VEGETABLEs and honey dew sago.
the vegetable-dish was quite ridiculous because there wasnt any scallop or even MUSHROOM on it. hello? im not even asking for abalone i know it will never turn up on our tables but hello again?? just green vegetables with oyster sauce = 1 dish?!
man thats unbelievable.

the games organised by the council were pretty much boring as well.
many things were not taken into consideration as they planned the games.
theres this game which you have to find 5 things around you and the first table to come up with the 5 wins.
what they ask for? hot pink tie, flower earrings, brooch, etc etc.
HELLO? how many people are going to wear hot pink tie for prom? (i think i only saw 1)
lets say theres 3, so out of the 30+ tables, only 3 tables can take part in the game?!
i have been to isetan's dinner and dance and played the exact same game, which was much much better as they asked for simple things like belts, heels, lipstick etc etc so everyone can play.

the only game which my table could actually take part in was the "guess the music".
there were two rounds to it but guess what?
the judge is actually one ~~pathetic~~ guy who actually walked around the ballroom and if he happens to stop beside your table and stuff, you give him the answer, you win!
WTH and he wasnt even at the left side of the ballroom half the time and both winners went to the right side.
HOW FUN YAY (if you cant sense sarcasm then just..... nvm)
at the end of prom, how can you say you have enjoyed it when you obviously didnt?
just ask those who had been to the prom whether they enjoyed themselves (except for the girl who won the xbox360 ack wth), most will definitely say its boring.

actually, i cant say i didnt enjoy the night at all because of the photo taking.

after prom wanted to go zouk but theres too many people and the thought of squeezing with everyone turns us off. we initially bought our tickets already but manage to sell them off at the same price before heading down to clarke quay.
we joined other innovians (many we didnt know) over at this club colaba.
no other customers inside except for us! lol.
drank some alcohols (i ordered singapore sling!) and played card games.
the music was too loud i thought my ears were bursting.
we left at 3am as it was closing and found somewhere else to sit and slack.
chatted, played cards etc until 530am before going to mac for breakfast.
some funny things happened within the few hours.
there was this big commotion revolving around this guy and girl (dunno what they are doing), which resulted in the police firing the stun gun at the guy and kept the girl screaming like nobody's business.
then came more police (reagan said about 10 and 4 other paramedics).
really need so many people meh?

just before we left for breakfast, there was this pair of policemen who approached us to ask for some directions (they were looking for a duno what guy)
the main point is this, initially before they approached us, they actually asked someone among us, WHO WAS SLEEPING.
you want to look for someone, and you went to ask someone who's sleeping who obviously didnt know who went past?
i have no idea what to say... just :)

yeap i guess thats about all for prom.
