song of the day: katharine mcphee - love story
want to read an educational post? haha read on!
thats hw at the left and me at the right :D
watched Ratatouille yesterday with hw and zj.
it was really really good!
i felt the movie was rather meaningful and funny and touching? (applies to me only)
i changed my viewpoints bout rats and i find them to my liking during and after the movie. lol.
OKAY SO IT'S RECOMMENDED SO PLEASE GO CATCH IT.
as said by chef gusteau "ANYONE CAN COOK"
so what's educational bout this post?
okay the real thing starts here.
question: ever wondered whats the difference between a rat and a mouse?
answer: the difference is only in the size! a mouse is smaller than a rat. how to differentiate it? you need to go read up on your own cause im not revealing it here. HAHA.
in ratatouille, remy (above) is thought to have a mind of it's own, wanting to be a chef, creating his own dishes rather than eating garbage.
in real life, do you think this is really happening?
actually it's true to a large extent.
of course rats do not go around creating their own dishes but they do THINK like us.
there is a large resemblance between rats and us humans!
read this extract from the new york times:
"Rats can learn to crave the same drugs that we do — alcohol, cocaine, nicotine, amphetamine — and they, like us, will sometimes indulge themselves to death. They’re sociable, curious and love to be touched — nicely, that is. If a rat has been trained to associate a certain sound with a mild shock to its tail, and the bell tolls but the shock doesn’t come, the rat will inhale deeply with what can only be called a sigh of relief."

how do rats show that they desire great sex?
"They wiggle and paw at their ears, hop and dart, stop and flash a come-hither look backward. “We imbue our desire with words and meaning, they show us through actions,” James G. Pfaus of Concordia University in Montreal said. “The good thing about rats is, they don’t lie.”"

interesting huh?
so do you still hate rats for who they are now?
if the answer's yes, why so?
cause they're dirty, ugly filthy looking etc?
what about this?

do you detest hamsters as much as rats?
but they belong to the same rodent family dont they?
so this showed us that, we as humans often judge things based on appearance.
similarly, i sometimes might fall into that category.
however we should be reminded not to judge a book by its cover.
what matters most is what's inside rather than outside right?
eg. you eat the flesh of the durian and not the shell.
sophisticated huh?
with this, i end my GP-essay liked post.
the one week break is coming to an end REALLY soon so i wish all those involved in the break to have a good rest.
i wish you my readers be blessed with good health and if you're students, GOOD RESULTS!
the promos are coming once again! X_X
