song of the day: the script - the man who cant be moved
i dunno why but somehow the idea of me not cherishing friendships enough got onto me.
just browsed through a few blogs and i find myself looking at the older posts of an old friend.
we used to be rather good but now, we're not even considered friends already.
photos of myself and posts of how i am treasured by him were inside that blog.
and the recent posts bout friends just kept reminding me of what i want to see in others but not the other way round.
i think the best thing about a blog is that it reminds you of what had happened, happy or sad incidents that you just have to blog about at that moment.
then when you feel like browsing your archive, you will find all the things that have changed.
bah all these are making this post emo already.
anyway, teachers day celebration on friday was great!
apart from the crappy aces day activity which just failed terribly (it was suppose to be like amazing race but everyone ended up strolling), the concert was great!
certainly it'll be one of the concert that students will remember.
every year during the celebration, we see students performing and dancing on the stage.
this year, the teachers are there to perform for us!
depicting the school life and how the students view their school and teachers.
which may seem oblivious to the teachers but in fact they know! haha.
so overall it was a double thumbs up. really good.
and oh i received a letter from mindef regarding a vocational assessment.
melson received it last month which was regarding some commando selection thing.
mine was the same thing lah but why i didnt receive it with him so we could have gone for it together?!
bah im all alone this time round.
i guess i'll just end here.
sorry for the lack of updates.
so long folks! :)

song of the day: bullet for my valentine - hearts burst into fire
some of you may have read what i blogged bout yesterday.
well since im gonna salvage the friendship, i feel that theres no point typing all those things here.
i've removed the previous post so as not to invite too much of a controversy.
in the meantime, i'll just let things settle slowly on its own...

song of the day: pink - who knew
another week is just gonna pass by with me still disliking the class.
the pursuit of better grades for prelims and alevels has changed the class into a torturous dome.
the mental stress experienced is just, too much.
its either you keep managing the stress quietly by yourself, or just cut the friendship ties with everyone.
there are so much criticism hypocrisy and sarcasm in the class that it doesnt feel like you're in a class anymore.
seriously, where's the 12d that we once were?
the orientation.
the j1 camp.
the teachers day celebration.
the kbox outing.
the zijie's bday celebration.
the zhenxiang's bday celebration.
and not forgetting, mr ng's marche treat.
when was the last happy time that this class had spent together.
ironically, its on my birthday.
seven months have past and we didnt spend a good time together.
all we know is pitting against one another in results and stuff.
another class i stepped into today was doing teachers' day gifts for their respective tutors.
atmosphere there was very different as everyone was having fun doing up their masterpieces.
was only there to pass things to others, i was really surprised when two of the guys in class gave me hugs.
they were rather spontaneous and so i didnt know how to react.
deep inside me, i felt like whew i really needed that!
at least in that class, i felt like im really being appreciated.
so once and for all, im just going to say this for just once.
clockwise from the teacher's desk, let me just name the tables one, two, three, four.
can that particular guy from table one just keep your mouth shut and stop making weird noises during chemistry lessons?
we know that you excel in chemistry but you seriously dont have to doubt others' answers by your lousy smirks.
you dont know how many people are complaining about you behind your back.
and teachers, oh well they dont like you as much as you like them.
thats what i know and what you dont.
table two, can that particular guy stop trying to act smart by asking many unrelated questions in class.
if you wish, do it after school or during consultations.
with precious time wasted on irrelevant questions, weaker students like me are SHORTCHANGED for goodness sake.
and wishing your teachers dead is definitely not a mature thing to do for your age so just grow up.
can we as a class, continue to help one another till the end of a levels?
stop all the personal attacks and stealing of notes till the end of a levels?
show some care to everyone and be sensible till the end of a levels?
play a part in all class activities when required till the end of a levels?
be less competitive and share materials with one another till the end of a levels?
NOT SCOLD YOUR FRIENDS THINGS LIKE "WAH SO EASY YOU ALSO DUNNO HOW TO DO, or WHAT RUBBISH ARE YOU WRITING" till the end of a levels?
can we as a class appreciate what our teachers have done for us and give them the credit that they deserve till the end of a levels?
last but not least, COOPERATE AND UNITE AS ONE TILL THE END OF A LEVELS?
thats just the little things i want to see in everyone.
classmates, can we just do things right for the last 50+ days we're going to spend together?
at least 10 years down the road, i will still want to have gatherings with you outside.
so can we please, try our best....?
with this, i end this post.

song of the day: jolin tsai - tian kong
this is going to be a really long post so take a deep breath and read on :)
i shall blog it in chronological order.
last saturday had a birthday celebration for zijie with some of the 0612j folks.
we went to somewhere ulu along macpherson road for zi cha which is on zijie.
nice sia every bday meal also wanna treat us. haha.
yeap after which we went coronation plaza for ice cream at island creamery.
we bought an ice cream cake there and sang happy birthday song to the bday boy!
here are the pictures :D
birthday boy! i took this pic! nice eh lol look like some photo for biography. =x
:D
the cookies and cream ice cream cake with gummies and jellybeans.
the girls!
and guys! lol. we didnt take any picture while singing the happy birthday song. this is taken after that which i say eh eh lets act like we're singing and take a photo. haha thus sj's crappy expression.
zijie removing the candles! with mouth. lol
group photo! tabitha, qiuling, zijie, jiawei, sunghun, shaojun and me!
hehe enjoy the rest! :D
im gonna touch on a few issues which i wanna say out explicitly but argh, i cant!
there are some erm restrictions to it so i will just talk bout it indirectly.
if you didnt know, when people talk to me, i analyse what they say such as whether it has connection to what im saying or hidden meaning etc.
call me paranoid but well its just in me.
so when ms su scolded the class for not working hard enough blah and pointed out several few weaker students, she went "some of you are making your teacher really tired of teaching you"
of course she didnt say who is it but she said it after pointing out the weaker students.
inside me, i was guessing who was she actually referring to cause i believe shes being indirect.
ever thought that when your teacher smiles at you, he/she may be putting on a fake front?
so never assume that they enjoy teaching you when in fact they dont.
what im trying to say here is that, teachers may not be worn out by teaching weak students but in fact, the smarter ones.
the demands they want from the teacher makes me wonder whether our teachers do have a private life of their own.
they are our teachers for goodness sake, not our slaves working for us.
no wonder **** *** recently broke down in class.
too tired from teaching.
thirty-fifth president of the united states kennedy once famously said "ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country"
though not exactly linked to what im trying to say here, ask yourself this: are you a producer or a consumer, in friendship.
a frequent consumer merely sums up to be a leech.
friends give and take.
we do not want friends who merely take and not give.
but well, i know of friends who are such people and it has recently come to my attention that someone close to me is actually of such a person.
refuse to believe in this fact, i set him a test which of course he's oblivious to it.
and he failed.
blah seriously i have no idea what im blogging now already.
theres something bogging up in my mind.
argh.
im ending this here.
the last issue i wanna touch on is well something that exists in class.
how many times have ms su said this?
"you excel as a class, you fail as a class"
number of SELFISH people on the rise, number of GENEROUS people is falling.
people are keeping notes away from one another so as not to let the others get it.
why is this happening you may ask.
well ask those who started to be selfish and began to spread this virus.
it sucks. you know i really used to love this class, alot.
but now, i really have no idea whether to like it or HATE it.
bah, im done for this post.
adios.

song of the day: dashboard confessional - dont wait
live for the day, the moment is now.
The sky glows
I see it shining when my eyes close
I hear your warnings but we both know
I'm gonna look at it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
You get one look
I'll show you something that the knife took.
A bit too early for my own good
Now let's not speak of it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
Don't wait, Don't wait
The lights will flash and fade away
The days will pass you by
Don't wait
To lay your armor down
