yesterday, hongwei showed me the blog of the girlfriend of the late nsman clifton lam who passed away while jungle trekking in brunei.
it was heart wrenching to read the blog because every post reminds you of how much she loves him.
well, what can i say?
life is really really fragile.
he left the island a healthy man but left this world on a foreign island.
we should really cherish who's with us at this moment.
family, friends.. and the list goes on.
no more arguments! just compromise.
cause we'll never know what will happen to anyone of us in the future.
when's the last time you expressed signs of love to people around you?
when's the last time you hugged and kissed your family and friends?
i believe a hug/kiss is the best gift in this world anyone can give/receive.
and most importantly, its free.
trust me, you'll feel really blessed.

a pretty normal week for me.
i did an online eq test yesterday, intro-ed by josh and asri.
not bad eh i scored 131/155.
its kinda high le according to the chart which says im the top 2 percentile blah blah.
cool right, it means that i can read your minds LOL.

mom's really cute.
yesterday she said i seemed to have "thin" back again cos my cheeks look sunken.
and guess what she do today?
she cooked alot!!
after my nanyang concept test she called me and said "are you coming home? faster cause im waiting for you to eat!!"
lol and when i got home, wah got fish soup, vege, meat, prawns, eggs blah.
she even boiled some kind of longan herbal drink and got me to drink 2 full glasses of it.
furthermore, i was instructed to drink a glass of milo everyday before i go school and before i sleep.
SO SWEET RIGHT? xD

a few days back i have a question that pops up in my mind.
how do people actually make friends with one another?
have you ever ask yourself, how do you end up with your friends today?
is it really fate or it's just, something that you want from him/her?
and i end up having an answer, something like trading.
in a trade, both parties exchange what the other wants and end up being happy.
in a friendship, we trade what we have in exchange for, well friendships and companion.
most people offer company, listening ear, entertainment, advice and many others.
now think of you and your friends, what is it that you are actually trading with them?
what do you have to offer yourself as a good that everybody wants?
as for me, i offer you my time :)

you know theres always so much things to say before you blog.
but the moment you start blogging, everything just flies away.
even if you remembered what you want to type, sometimes after you type, you just backspace all the way.
cause the feeling is just isnt right..
sigh.
if you didnt understand what i meant, dont worry cause im just well weird i think.
hahaha but im surprised cause i never expect to find someone who can read my mind.
its like, wow we can read one another's mind!
like bananas in pajamas': "are you thinking what am i thinking?"
and the freaky thing is, its all in the mind!!
we didnt have to say anything to know what one another is thinking about cause we think the same way.
lol lah.
to that someone: YOU SUCK!! HAHAHA. (you asked for this LOL)

ten days since i last blogged.
well thanks for checking this blog out :)
after prelims everything just got pretty boring.
its always go to school for lectures, revision and staying back to study.
but i like the last part - staying back to study.
cause i get to study and chat with friends!
well to be exact, friends from the next class.
it's just so sad to know that you "click" better with the people from next door and not from your own.
and the most ironic thing is that, im the chairperson of the class!?
but nevertheless, there are still close friends in class who care bout me and vice versa.

prelim results were horrendous.
oh wait did i blog bout it the last time already?
some old friends came back to receive their sgc last week and this week.
daph and mel came back last wed :D
shawn tien on thursday if im not wrong.
and wenkang came back yesterday.
im glad all of them made it to uni!
and hopefully me too next year.

sunday was daphne's birthday!!
HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY WAA!! HAH :D
went jurong point to have my crystal jade treat!!
and im so damn sua gu cause its my first time eating at crystal jade!!
lol sia but i was pretty amazed at their service.
its damn good!!
fast and efficient!
the satisfaction i dine there is much better than places like swensens or fish and co.
really good should try!!
the only sad thing was that theres no har gao.
wah depressed..
but the guo tie (or gyoza in jap) is fantastic!!
as if the dumpling exploded upon biting.
and the xiao long pao too.
way too good!!
the three of us, ate, 3 main dishes and 7 sides!!
damn good ah ahaha!!

after which we slacked around the place as we wanted ice cream for our desserts.
walked around before ending up in the arcade.
played the photohunt and basketball game and heres the highlight, the candy scooping machine.
though its like cheat money kind, we had so so much fun playing it lah.
i laugh till i cried.
really should have looked at melanie's reaction when the candies fall off the tray.
so worked up lol!
in the end we spent 5bucks on that machine, exchanging for lots of fun and some sweets.
the last three bucks we only got ONE pathetic mentos!! lol which i finished in less than 2mins.
BAH!!

went andersen's ice cream for our ice cream!
wanted to have it at swensens but it's under renovation so yeah.
ordered couple fondue and finished it real fast!

whao i haven been updating my blog for so long already.
but still, thanks to all who bothered to check for updates.

well first bout results.
they were horrendous. everything was just very much below my expectation.
pure devastation lah really.
so from next week onwards, im gonna start mugging till late in school everyday le.
actually i've already started but let next week be the REAL THING.

mom has planned to remove computer, tv and movie from my life for the next few months.
i gave in for the sake of helping myself.
though i believe i will still get to enjoy them but on a seldom phase.
problems are always surfacing and i never liked problems.
the closer a levels come, the more things you start to see in people.
desperation is still the usual thing to drive people to their limits.
i hope that will give me the extra push to do well for prelim 2 and a levels.

yeap i guess im ending here.
