cause i had my nick as mariah carey, den i got hongwei and danny to have it changed as well.
so we have 3 mariah careys in one team.
and we rockED! wooohoo totally.

and something about mariah carey, she's married!!
i was like HUH to who?

and their age difference is 11!

next, yesterday (friday) had this nma general meeting which people said it's important lah must go.
and luckily i went.

so many good things happening already ;D

yeap holidays had already started like one week ago and i barely got anything done.

YAY FINALLY I'VE WATCHED HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY!! :D :D
i've been wanting to watch it even before its out but i couldnt really find time to watch it but i did last night!

muahahaha!
it was seriously awesome man.
all the stupid jokes and the excessive usage of the F word.
the fuck word appeared more than a hundred times in the movie and it rocked!!
my grin was on the face throughout the movie cause its just hilarious :)
much better than harold and kumar goes to white castle imo.
okay my main takeaway(s) from the movie?

my hair is seriously short now but not to worry it'll grow.

okay next, the start of the holidays was rather mundane.
have to go back to school for the whole of the first week.
monday had GP prelims and i kinda screwed it up.
DAH. and subwayed in town after that.

there's asri, yuxian, puqin, andrew, junqiang and me!

while on the way back home, we scurried into the train as the doors were closing.
GUESS WHAT.
MY BAG GOT KIAPPED (singlish) BY THE FUCKING DOOR LAH.
that is one of the last thing i want to happen to me but argh.
all the eyes in the train were on me and i had to cover my face.
lol damn ><
to think i tried not to laugh at people who experienced this before in case i kena it in the future and LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED. zzz.

today had mac breakfast with yuxian, asri, huimin and josh before going for econs lecture.
boring as usual. ><
and oh people just a reminder, if you're a mcdonald member and you still have points in your card, PLEASE GO REDEEM THEM BY MAY 31ST 2008 CAUSE THEY ARE EXPIRING!

YAY THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE ONCE AGAIN!!!!
yeah right.
seriously, there wasnt ANY ANTICIPATION for the holidays for we know the holiday which we once thought was actually 5 months ago during the dec holidays.
its OVER! really.
this BREAK is suppose to be a study break for us so...
STUDY GROUPS PLEASE! :D :D

and today mr ng did something really sweet to the class.
he only spent about 20mins going through physics before showing us a motivational video by steve jobs.
the speech itself was really nice and it made me realise that really, things that happen now may seem bad at the moment but it may be a blessing in disguise!
which is true cause i've experienced it a few times, one of it being the fact that i retained two years back.
come to think of it now, things have become so much better after retaining.
new friends, better teachers, better cca etc. :)
after the video, mr ng talked to us bout how much he love our class that he wouldnt want to scold us anymore.
cause almost all our teachers scolded us, he just want to let our ears relax for a while.
so he began talking bout some of the things that actually made him think of what he's doing at the moment and whether he would have any regrets about them.
he began everything by saying "you may be a failure in obtaining good results but you are definitely not a failure in life"
awwwww, sounds really touching eh.
and all that automatically sets me thinking for my next semester.

apart from college day, i think the greatest takeaway from the celebration was a speech by an ex-student.
well, she gave such an inspiring speech that i sort of EMO-ed for a while.
i really hope to see myself standing in front of a crowd giving a speech about my life and how i overcome difficulties into the position im standing then.
really.

after the two major natural disasters that happened, they made me realise one again that life is not just about doing what you should be doing.
life is also about family, friends and living it to the fullest.
i love you all :)

yeap, some people may be wondering who's the 3rd featured friend i have in my friendster.
well its his birthday today!
it all started like well... 5 years ago, during the december hols in 2003.
FinalLove (me lol) joined a room in GUNBOUND and saw his twin FlameZa1 (hongwei).
they were wearing the same avatars (pirate suits, golden hammer and pet01) and thus the term twin. - i rmb!
they both use NAK machine and went on winning many rounds in the game.
before they ended the game, both exchanged email and tadah!
they became close friends since then.
cool eh!
hongwei remained one of my closest friends ever since. :D
so once again, happy birthday!
hope you have a nice one this year.

lucky.
how do you define lucky?
striking lottery being lucky?
passing your exams being lucky?
getting distinctions being lucky?

and the list goes on and on and on...

ever felt lucky that you are still alive?
your family and friends are still with you.
ever felt lucky that you are still seeing the morning sun everyday?
able to stand under it absorbing all the warmth it gives.

it is tragic that cyclone nargis hits myanmar and the earthquake that shook china.
more than thousands of people had died to what we know as natural disasters.
as i read on in the news of how survivors managed to keep themselves alive, there was a sudden surge of "humanity" inside me.
the feeling is hard to describe.
i feel so unfair, at the same time, sympathising for them.
we are all human beings but we all lead different lives.
the reality is hard to accept, literally.
i hate to think of this.
but can you imagine as you are reading this - someone lying underneath the rubble, somewhere in china RIGHT NOW.
seeing nothing but darkness.
inhaling nothing but the smell of rotting corpses.
feeling nothing but the chills.
craving nothing but a sip of water.
and all they hope was just to see light again.
with the difficulty in accessing to the remote area, some of these people are unable to hold out any longer.
they are just, waiting for, death.
the feeling is terrible, and im seriously freaking out by the thought of it.
they suffered by being in an earthquake.
they held on, thinking that maybe someone will be there to save them.
but as time passes, the chances of them staying alive dim.
being able to survive an earthquake while being trapped underneath the cement and not able to get out.
are they considered the lucky or the unlucky ones?

to all victims of both disasters, my heart goes out to you.

just came back from ed's birthday buffet not long ago.
i had so much fun - talking with MISS TEO WEI REN!
really, after so much talking, i suffered: sore jaws, cramped stomach and ultra dry throat.
and i am so surprised by my huge collection of juicy gossips.
NOW I KNOW WHY I DIDNT GET GOOD RESULTS BACK IN SECONDARY SCHOOL.
after a day of filming, i met weiren before going for ed's buffet.
it was at downtown east so it took us quite sometime to get there.
luckily we have one another for company, we didnt feel VERY left out when we're there cause ed invited his poly friends etc.
on the way to and fro, we reminisced so much about the past and had really great laughs.
i am missing this kind of laughing sessions i always have when we have secondary school mates gatherings.
the feeling is just, AWESOME.
wei ren made me realise how lucky i am now.
i never had a lack of friends who are willing to be there for me.
and today, i finally realise why i can hit it off so well with friends in the past rather than some friends in the present.
right now, it is basically due to the extreme characters that we have that cause our friendships to sour.
seriously ed, i was so touched to hear from your girl that i used to have such influence in your life and managed to change you (a lil, a lot, i dunno)
but you are still the way you are, so thats definitely a plus! :D

there's filming yesterday in school too! (im blogging assuming today is 10 may)
nothing much to say bout that but lots of photos to post.

daph visited me after school on tuesday.
though it's been about a month since we last met, we can talk like how we used to talk.

okay proper post starts here.
theres so many things to blog about and i have no idea where to start from. X.x
school's been pretty much miserable with many tests and homeworks.
not forgetting the extra lectures and stuff which drag all the way to 6/7pm almost everyday.
total sian-ness.
i hope revision comes fast so i wont have to learn all these new things which are driving me CRAZY. duh.

nma camp ended last saturday.
it was terriiiifiiicc!
haha at least i ENJOYED MY CCA FOR ONCE IN INNOVA.
seriously, it was fun and i made lotsa new friends.
i was the facilitator for group HULK and we won third overall! lol sia.
which was really unexpected cause we sucked at one of the games.
back to the camp, i think we as j2s had more fun than the j1s.
though i cant say all but some of the j1s were really "DEAD" like very sian like that.
just two hours into the camp they say they want to GO HOME.
whao sia encouragement for me to work hard for them =x lol.

i dont understand how we can study 8hours on every saturday and sunday. (teachers order)
i cant even sit still for 3-4 hours leh zz.
like later, im gonna have tuition, filming for fpu and cutting my hair at town.
and guess what time will that be already.
10PM! argh den im gonna get home bathe and sleep at 11.30.
there goes my labour day.
bah.
actually, school can be really tiring but enjoyable at the same time if you have great friends around you.
i do have them but you know, things may go wrong and your friendships go downhill.
ahhh shall not ponder over that anymore, at least i still have other friends :)

and people asked me how come i dont go into relationships leh?
i feel that a relationship needs commitment - which is what i cant promise.
i have work, family and so many good friends.
if i go into a relationship, my friendship or kinship will just have to suffer.
which is what im not prepared for, so yeap.
and IF im getting into a relationship, you wont be always seeing me and my girl together cause, my time will be distributed to people who i care for and people who cared for me.

ZZ how did i get into that topic in the first place.
ok lets talk about my class.
well i've blogged about it before and now im back at it again.
the culture is so.... BAD.
i do not know whats happening.
i do not know whats everyone thinking.
from the outside, we may look like wooo damn close ah this class.
but on the inside, and i mean REALLY INSIDE US, you do not know what are we thinking.
its so hard to guess who wants to help you or is he/she actually harming you.
i know my classmates read my blog but THIS IS THE TRUTH.
