song of the day: bang bang tang - ai qing ma qi duo

i am a very very lucky person.
at certain times, we seem to be choosing our friends.
i believe the friends who will be true friends to you are those who actually bothered to do things for you.
for example, daphne is willing to wake up early in the morning to have breakfast with me before i go to work.
she also bought me herbal tea without me actually telling her to do so.
melanie played a great host when we popped by at her chalet.
true friends do things for you and they dont complain.

such things cannot be seen from a third party, it can only be felt from within the heart.
recently, i received greeting cards from some friends.
it felt really nice to know that somebody out there actually remembers you :)

first it's from LUO AN THE ARTIST.
i was really surprised to find the envelope in my mailbox.
in it contains a microzine (his project about all the abstracts he drew), cards and a greeting note.

luo an's a really talented person.
though we're not close in terms of friendship, he still bothered to send you gifts and bothered to keep in touch.
and that alone tells me that he's a friend that can be trusted.

last night i met someone whom i haven seen for quite sometime though we're neighbours.
MISS KUM JIA WEI! :D
she returned from taiwan just a few days ago and so yesterday she passed me the things she got for me etc.
she cooked korean fried rice and gave me a serving too!
things she got me include the fried rice, PORTRAIT of me, taiwan sweets and crackers and a greeting note.

it was really touching as she actually bothered to spend time to sit down, look at my picture and draw.
which is why i said earlier, im a very lucky person.
i have many friends who cared bout me and therefore, i should have nothing to complain about (in terms of friendship).

next part of the post will be about my previous workplace.
you must have been curious where i earn my high pay from =x
i was working for a company called TNS.
it was introduced by joselyn* and it's located in thomson road!
