song of the day: led zeppelin - stairways to heaven

i believe almost everyone has either heard or seen it on tv or papers about the virginia technical university's massacre.
it was a really tragic incident which should not have even happen.
what a world. =(
many died innocently, without even knowing the reason to their death.
so the question is, who's to be blamed?
the murderer's dead so what now as the family and friends of the victims were left there to weep?
i just wish that no killings and accidents will happen, really.
but will the day ever come?
i seriously doubt so =(

had wet training at kallang yesterday.
as usual we kayaked but this time, with a really lousy boat! =(
it's very sturdy and stable but, it's really easy to turn!
argh need to use alot of strength to keep it straight =(
had a small accident yesterday too.
a friend (i shan't say who) and i carried the kayak up to the erm, land.
so we had to climb up a really narrow stairs to reach the land.
when we were close to the top of the stairs, he turned right so as to bring the kayak back up.
however, as he turned, the momentum caused the kayak to turn left which is coming at me!
without any railings on the stairs, i realise i will be falling down bout 3-4 metres to the wooden planks below.
without further ado, i jumped to my side, expecting to injure my legs during landing.
however miraculously, i didnt feel any pain in my legs X_X
and after i returned to help my friend with the kayak, the yjc up there were all shocked as they looked at me (he told me they went OMG!)
lol. i guessed they were expecting me to fall into the water, hurting myself or something.
i felt really lucky to be fine and intact. xD
